52 - 56 HRC | 12 - 50 mmThe SKF hardened precision shaft LJMS is a solid shaft of stainless steel (X46Cr13 kwaliteit). this shaft can therefor withstand high pressures without deformation. The LJMS has a hardness between 52 and 56 HRC (Rockwell Hardness Scale). The maximum sufrace roughness is Ra 0,3 μm. The LJMS is machined to h6 or h7 tolerances. Thanks to the stainless steel the LJMS is ideal for applications where possible contact with a large number of products including fresh water, dilute acids and alkalis, fruit and vegetable juices may occur.
The SKF hardened precision shaft LJMS is available in sizes between 6 and 50 mm. For each size there are a dozen different modifications possible, to make sure that you get the right shaft. It is possible to modify these shaft tailer-made, based on your technical drawings. If you are unsure which modification is the most suitable, the differences are indicated below.
